Dr. Syed Abdullah Aljunid

Short CV

Dr. Syed Abdullah Aljunid received his PhD from the Centre for Quantum Technologies in NUS in 2012 for work on interfacing a single atom with light through strong focusing. He then spent a year as a post-doctoral fellow at Laboratoire de Physique des Lasers in Université Paris 13 working in the group of Optique et Interférométrie Atomique (ex IOA) to generate a beam of slow metastable Argon from a Magneto Optical Trap. He is currently a project leader at Centre for Disruptive Photonics Technologies, NTU, doing research on atom-metasurface interactions with cesium atoms.
