High-Q resonances for strong light-matter interaction

Short CV

Dr. Govind Dayal Singh obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India in 2015. He is currently a project leader at the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT) at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests include nanophotonics, plasmonics, nanofabrications, and their applications for studying new optical physics and light-matter interaction at the nanometer scale. Currently, he is exploring the hybridization of plasmonic resonances in composite nanostructures to explore ultra-narrow band resonances in the plasmonics structures at infrared and optical frequencies for multi-fold enhancement of surface-enhanced infrared absorption (SEIRA) and photoluminescence signal of newly emerging two-dimensional materials.
